Today, I had shelves installed using a builder who came highly recommended by my co-worker. Turns out the builder is her friend, who has no actual qualifications or experience as a builder, but 'it's his dream'. I now have a gaping hole in my kitchen where the shelves should be. FML

Store your goods in said hole. Problem solved.

Go to his house and let him know it was your dream to be a wrecking ball operator

Why do you need a "professional" builder to install shelves?

Because no matter what, this world will always have people too lazy to do things for themselves.

why didn't you check with Anjie first and see what she had to say before you agreed to do this. Now you are going to have to see Judy about it so she can tell you ydi too~~

The builder would have a gaping hole too, after they remove my foot from his @$$....

If you had a contract with him, you could sue for not having the necessary skills and training, and also for not doing the job properly. If you took him at his word, FYL.

You have to Reach credentials no matter the recommendation!

Get this "builder" to pay for proper repairs.

guys like that give contractors like me a bad name. my wife could put up shelving by herself with her little purple tool set. come on man its a DIY project. ive never been hired to build shelves, i build houses. SUCKA
