Hey, if it weren't for the Incredible Hulk reference, it would still be an intelligent conversation. At least your boyfriend is capable of having a semi-intelligent conversation, even if it is inspired by a comic book character. Too many guys aren't capable even of that.

I think that's kinda cute that he took an interest in those specific topics in the movie and wanted to share them with you. He doesn't have to be on your intelligence level per say for you to have a meaningful conversation.
