Today, I had to admit that my jealousy issues were becoming a problem when I almost told my boyfriend not to apply at the local McDonald's, because of the high school girls that would see him there. FML

McDonalds workers ARE notorious for their appeal to teenage girls..

How old are you that high school girls bother you?

ive always wanted to date the guy who flips pink slime.. yeah, no.

He'll definitely be picking up other girls working at McDonald's.

Sounds like you need to trust him more to me. Jealousy wouldn't be as much of an issue if you believe he wont react to then even if they flirt with him

Isn't the real FML that her boyfriend wants to work there?

You need to trust him, a girl can flirt with him anywhere, anytime. Unless you have a lot of really whorish young girls in your area, you're just being paranoid

That's just going to freak her out. Any girl...ANYWHERE?! He's never going outside again, good job asshole.

I worked at Mac shack for 3 years no girls try to hit on u I was even a shift manager at 18 they don't want no Mac shack employee he has a better chance picking up a chick being a bum then Mac shack just trust him

Am I the only one who reads a comment really fast when there's no punctuation?

You need to relax. If your relationship is going to work, you're going to have to trust your boyfriend. He clearly likes you, cause YOU are his girlfriend! Who cares if those girls like him, he only wants you!

That's not jealously. That's insecurity.

You don't have jealousy issues. You have insecurity issues. You might want to read up on polyamory. Trying that for a while might help because you aren't dependent on one person for your emotional fulfillment.

Polyamory doesn't work for everyone: just like swinging, any fetish, swapping, polygamy or monogamy. If someone already has insecurity issues in relationships it may only make things worse.
