Today, I had to buy a wrist brace for a repetitive strain injury. I got the injury because I was knitting too much. I'm 22. FML

Oh, what bashing of the knitter stereotype! I'm 20, have been knitting, crocheting and cross-stitching for 5-7 years, and I still manage to have a very active social life (I'm not even single!). The only reason that I don't get tendinitis, is because I stretch out my forearm muscles after playing bass, and also use some other of the muscles in the forearm when I work out. and #57, knitting can surely be creative. A friend of mine knitted her own Misfits-sweater:)

I'm 21 and I both knit and crochet. It's entertaining, a good way to kill time in a doctor's office or while watching tv, and I sell the stuffed toys I make on Etsy. There's nothing to be ashamed of. By the way, I also date, and have an active social life and multiple other hobbies. Thanks for asking.

I've been knitting for years, and I'm way younger than most of you. FYL for thinking that knitting has no place in the world except cold places and old ladies, all you knit-haters. If knitting didn't exist, than all your clothes would not be there. They're knitted (albeit by machine, but that's evolved from when there was no knitting machines. So feh.! People whom I'm speaking to: #s 16, 18, 19, 47, 51, 58, 74, 75, 76, 86, 92, 93, 104, and 106. ...That's a kinda long list, but not as long as I had expected when I went hunting for those. Yay. :)

I did that before I even turned 20. What's sad is that I too am 22 and I've worn out both of my wrist braces.
