Sue! That sucks. You can do upper body seated.
While I didn't personally click it, the possible reasons include: Working out too close to other people, using a foot injury as an excuse for laziness, jealousy over someone following through on their new years resolutions or jealousy that they don't have the same excuse.
Well, at least you have an actual excuse, unlike some people. Why not take the opportunity to work on your upper body while your foot heals?
