I definitely wouldn't be abusive, but I probably just wouldn't be with someone who had a *blatant* lack of common sense. Obviously I know that no one is perfect and that it's impossible for an individual to know everything, but something like this would definitely bug me.

Sadly, my 22yo son's girlfriend recently asked him if all mice grow into rats after he told her that one of my pet rats was the size of a mouse when we got him. It's no worse though than the 18yo who refused to continue eating the eggs we sold her parents, because ours came out of chickens' bums and not from the factory where she assumed the supermarket obtained their supplies.

I've had a similar experiance, but it was a 40 year old guy. I also know someone who stopped drinking cow milk because someone told her it was breastmilk
