Today, my mom and I took my senile grandmother to the mall, since she doesn't get out much. She complained it was hot, then took her clothing off in the middle of the food court. It took us thirty minutes to make her put her shirt back on. FML

I find nothing wrong with this. I mean I use to be very uncomfortable with walking around in a bikini, have a kid, you lose all sense of dignity and self consciousness.

I understand the OP. My mother has walked around in her underwear and her birthday suit for as long as I can remember, no matter how many times I tell her it makes me extremely uncomfortable.

Did you consider the possibility that the OP is there because their mother has some issues and needs the help. Whether it be monetarily or just in helping to lift heavy stuff. I mean my mother is only in her early fifties and she already has some stuff that she is just not physically capable of doing any more. It could be the same for the OPs mother.
