Today, I had to explain to my friend that the world did not used to be black and white. It was just the pictures that were. She still doesn't believe me. She's eighteen. FML

You should have told her that your family painstakingly painted each inch of the world and as a way to show gratitude, she now has to give massages and compliments on cue. If she doesn't, you will put paint thinner on her.

I thought that when I was like, 3 or 4. Now, I just literally cannot imagine any point before 1980 (Even though color photos were older) in color. My mind insists on picturing it in b&w..
