Did that in elementary, she was claiming Texas was the biggest state and I corrected her, telling her that Alaska is actually bigger. She was so pissed.

My English teacher did that to me when I corrected her on how to spell dying! She spelt it dieing..damn teachers!

A similar thing happened to me in math last year. My teacher had a problem on the board and when I said the answer, she told me it was wrong, not once, but twice. I then did the problem myself and showed her and kinda said, "Oh ya, you're right". I didn't get kicked out of class though, plus the whole class was laughing.
