My 4th grade teacher had us make a family tree with our nationalities and I had to go up and ask her where the sticker flag from Prussia was and she told me "you must mean RUSSIA" I calmly said "no PRUSSIA" she started yelling at me telling me I was stupid and there was never a country called Prussia... So I went to the library and wrote up a 10 pg paper on Prussia... It's history... Traditions... Foods... All that and handed it in to her after the weekend... Her jaw almost hit the floor! Then she got mad at me for proving her wrong and gave me detention

I wonder how many of you knew that before you read this. I did (of course i AM czech). I would also like to know how many of you know names of the capital cities of czech and slovak republic... And dont look it up on wiki try to remember :)

I knew off the top of my head that Prague was the capital of the Czech Republic (it was also the capital of Czechoslovakia), but I had to Wiki to find that Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia (aka, the Slovak Republic.)

Czechoslovakia was a combination of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The Slovaks got pissed because of getting second billing, so now the country is called Slovakczechia and will switch back in 2060. True story.
