y'all could play that clapping version like in the Conjuring? Blindfold the seeker so its a level playing field?
my future child most likely
She'd be kickass at Marco Polo.
I dont see how the children asking the little girl to play hide and seek is inappropriate? what was inappropriate was you saying that she couldnt play, without even asking the little girl first. just because shes blind doesnt mean she cant play ,or if youre that worried suggest a game they can all do.
We used to play hide and seek with out blind friend, we never made a huge thing about her not seeing or our other friend not being able to walk. The blind dont get upset by see you laters and the girl who couldnt walk didnt get upset over Run and hide. Sadly people extreme views on not making disabled people "feel bad" makes their lives restrictive and they get treated that they are less of a persons. Instead You the teacher should be told off for making the children feel bad when they want to include and play with their friend. Learn more about blindness and stop seeing it as life ending disability.
I don't really see the big deal!
If she is willing to play, she should be allowed. With loss of sight, her hearing and touch takes over. It's amazing how children without sight can adapt at an early age. I'm sure there are ways to change how the game is played to include her. Good luck OP.
Blind ones are quite good at seeking too. The don't rely on vision, which is useless, if others are hidden well.
Children with disabilities deserve to play like all other children do! Kids are creative and would have found a way to include the child, I'm sure.
Maybe you're the problem, not them. Her blindness isn't as limiting to her as you are.

She can hide with another child, I think it's sweet they wanted to include her. Maybe you were being a little uptight and should have thought of how she could play instead of why she couldn't.
It's saddening that she's blind, and may have been embarrassed but you did your best OP!
