From experience, they would probably have been very good at it. My other half is blind and a bloody crack shot at Nerf parties. Never underestimate the abilities of someone with a missing sense.
Well now my day is depressing. Children. They are unknowingly cruel to the world.
HA!
No it's not!!! Geez! They were including her! They just have to modify the way they play ... if they can see her, they are found. Why would you think excluding her is better than including her? Wow.
You should have taken this as a teaching opportunity for the children. They are young and most likely haven't met someone who is blind (especially that is the same age as them). Instead of telling them not to invite her to play, explain how she is different and see if they can come up with a new way to play (her having a buddy, etc.) so she can still be included. If you tell them to not include her they will interpret blindness as a bad thing, but if you help them understand it they will embrace it
depending how old they are but it's possible she could beat all of them as sometimes other senses are more alert when one is no longer there
got to admit it is pretty funny

She can hide with another child, I think it's sweet they wanted to include her. Maybe you were being a little uptight and should have thought of how she could play instead of why she couldn't.
It's saddening that she's blind, and may have been embarrassed but you did your best OP!
