Don't worry it is just the integral of the circumference of the circle.

I'm definitely not going into engineering, but I changed my major to elementary teaching from Pharmacy and I'm in one of the teaching math classes. I had to re-learn to do long division long-hand. I felt dumb too.

This happens to a lot of people in higher math fields. You get so used to doing the hard stuff you forget the easy things. Most engineers I know can't do multiplication without a calculator.
