Hi, this is OP. I loved all of your comments and read every single one. I couldn't believe this got on the site! Thanks to number #22: I loved you're comment and made me feel loads better. I love that everyone was so understanding. What's strange is that although I am a painfully awkward, I usually just get really red when I have to talk to the class. Thankfully I have a lot of good friends in real life to comfort me. (and a few new internet ones!) Thanks for finding my life entertaining!

This has definitely happened to me, except during a job interview.... Didn't get the job.
I'm extremely socially awkward. I introduced myself to a girl speaking so fast, she couldn't understand me. After which I immediately ran and hid. That was 8 years ago. We've been married now for 7.
Damn, that's... Lucky!
Im always nervous in front of class, i get really hot and i have trouble talking...
I had to do a speech once in school and it was about abused animals and I got so shaky and nervous as I was presenting this speech everyone thought I was actually crying when I was done. It happens to everyone!!
in first grade i had a presentation and ended up pissing myself infront of my entire class.. needless to say it sucked.
Public speaking is incredibly uncomfortable for me as well. One time in a college speech class, someone turned to my friend and asked if I was crying while giving my speech. (My voice was that shaky.) To make it worse, my friend didn't think about it and just said yes.
I hate those people that don't pay attention when you're speaking of talk to each other.
At least she ended your misery. She could've gotten angry and told you to stop being silly and finish the presentation. I've seen that happen.
omg! I do the same...

Awe it's ok public speaking is hard for many people and trust me your not alone.
Well, now you can think about becoming a psychology major in college and do a presentation about why presentations are awkward and be able to draw from personal experience.
