Today, I had to run a mile in gym class for fitness training. If it takes longer than 10 minutes to run the stretch, you have to re-take it. My time was 10:02. FML

I mean I'm gonna say you deserve it. If you're that badly out of shape you should do something about it. I'm 280 pounds and I can do that in like 8.......

That may be, but you know what? People can look at you and know you weigh 280 pounds. They can't look at someone and know they can't run a 10 minute mile. Unless you're actually a runner, or apparently if you're posting on this FML, no one cares how fast you can run.

keep a steady pace and then sprint the last quarter mile. i did that and my time was 7 minutes, and would have been faster had i actually tried.

umm I don't understand how u didn't make it...I'm fat and I can run a mile in about 9:30....I'm not sure what my latest time is but it's something from 9:30-9:50

drop a quad of acid, then ull do it in 5 mins flat cause of the evil garden gnomes of doom chasing you with dildoes, riding unicorns painted in rainbows.

Wow. The last time I had to run the mile was in middle school, and back then I got it in 8 minutes and that's with walking some of it. I would've done better if I actually tried. You either walked for a majority of it, or you're in elementary school. The last time I saw anyone get over ten minutes for the mile was in like 3rd grade. Only a few of the guys got under 10 minutes.
