Try and comfort yourself as much as you can. Have a tea/coffee. Eat chocolate. Take painkillers afterwards.

I don't think you should go to the dentist with a cold, let alone a cold AND a period. My cousin went to the dentist with just the cold and ended up puking chunks when the dentist put the tools in her mouth. It was gross.

I have had my wisdom teeth removed before. It was winter break. I was a freshman, and I had to get surgery on my lower righthand side of my mouth. I had to get a gum cut open and had a tooth taken out as well as the tooth next to that now-toothless gum uprighted. And I got stitches in that gum. Couldn't play the trumpet for a week. It was painful, and it sucked. I am so sorry for your pain, OP. It gets better. Eventually.
