It's okay to have separate preferences. Not liking bacon =/= not liking steak or hot dogs. There is still hope, or possibly he just wasn't super hungry that day.

imagine if he would go vegan... oh the horror! you are totally a failed dad for not respecting him for making a healthy choice for himself and our Earth and for saving a few insignificant pig lives oh you can say fml! how about worrying about things which are truly important like his education, his life savings, getting him a home with no mortgage, and such... and showing him some respect and understanding.

Thank you #15 there are some people in this world who are vegan for health reasons. The fact that the Internet cant accept that is astounding. And personally, im fine with bacon-eaters. Circle of life man.
