Today, I heard that a boy in my class had written a song about me. Intrigued, I went to see him perform. I spent 3 excruciating minutes listening to a song about 'the girl of his dreams', his tear-filled eyes staring into mine the whole time. I have to sit next to this freak for the next 2 years. FML

Don't be an ass. We've all had to deal with these types of things but there are tactful ways to go about it... And who has the same seating chart for two years?

Am I the only one who feels bad for OP? Yeah, it was a pretty bad idea for her to go listen, but it is about her. Maybe she's just one of those people who has to know what people say about them. And just because he's in her class doesn't mean they know each other. Some of the most social people I know still don't know everyone in my year.

There are times when "your life sucks" and "you deserve it" doesn't fit. For me it's like "aww... you don't deserve something that sweet"

Omw get a life. That's the nicest thing he can do

What the **** did you think the song was gonna be about?! It would either be a love song or a hate song - either way, you had no reason to go. YDI

that's my best friend your talking about!!! he really loves you and your a self loathing bitch!

Wow. That's harsh. The effort it must have taken for him to build up the courage to express those feelings and you can't even have the self decency to take it as a compliment. With respect, you don't deserve this guy.

I've written a song to a girl. I don't see a Problem with that.
