Today, I heard that a boy in my class had written a song about me. Intrigued, I went to see him perform. I spent 3 excruciating minutes listening to a song about 'the girl of his dreams', his tear-filled eyes staring into mine the whole time. I have to sit next to this freak for the next 2 years. FML

Today, I discovered the guy that sits next to me in class is actually a girl. Not only is that bad, but we had to write a paper about each other. I used the words "him" and "he", and read it to the whole class. FML

Today, my class was interrupted by flowers, balloons and chocolates. Then he sang to me a song he wrote himself. This was all for our one-year anniversary. It probably would have been the best day of my life... if I knew who he was. FML

Today, I had my high school piano recital. The entire time I was playing, one of my classmates sitting up front kept booing me and yelling "YOU SUCK" at the top of his lungs. He drowned out the entire song. FML

Today, I decided to check out my school's quarterback's Twitter, since we have a class together. He wrote, "Dear girl in front of me, I thought you were pretty until you turned around." It was funny, until I realized the timestamp was when we have class together, and I sit in front of him. FML

What are the YDI for. This dude obviously put her on a pedestal that made her uncomfortable, and did it in a way that she has to continue that same discomfort. Isn't that at least a partial definition of creepy? This isn't sweet, it's wrong. Or maybe it's just my way of thinking. But I feel I at least had the courtesy to propose to my wife out of eye and ear shot so she wasn't put in the spot light that this guy put the OP in.

Also... : I sang an amazing song that got high appraise from everyone in the audience... except the one I wrote it for. My tears of joy at her arrival were soon replaced by despair, as the love of my life's eyes met mine and she scowled. I cannot express regret for my emotions, because I have none, but my only only concern is that she has discovered my true feelings and despises me for it. I have to sit next to this girl for the next two years. FML
