Some people just aren't as coordinated as others, and that's okay.

Give the knee time. Stretch your hamstrings and strengthen your lower calf muscles/ankles so your legs are well supported. My sport is year-round and I tend to not stop when I should so take it from someone who's made mistakes- give a trauma injury TIME to heal, before you put pressure on other areas to compensate and create a chronic problem!
