Michael here... I had to introduce the new girlfriend to the exwife when I picked up my kid. My exwife didn't want my son spending the weekend with me and her if she didn't meet her. They did end up sharing things about me. However they claim that if I think that's all they talked about that I'm really conceded. I think I'm more paranoid than conceded, though.

you should never introduce a new girlfriend to an ex wife; your girlfriend is gonna be all buddy buddy with your ex wife to know allll your secrets, which your ex wife is going to be more than willing to tell.

I think you did the right thing...people who say "never introduce exes to currents" have likely not been married (it's a whole different thing than dating). This could be either really good or really bad for you. Gossip about you is guaranteed, though.
