Put shrimps in the curtains. The smell is horrible and they'll never find the source!
This confused me at first since you used fiancé and not fiancée like you should have. Anyways, enough grammar, back to the anecdote. Just do it, get it over with. It could be worse. But FYL anyways.
Actually it confused me too at the very first second because it said "fiance" and then "her"...I was like "Wait, what?" and had to read it again... It's not being pedantic, it's a fact that there's way too many morons out there who spell that word wrong and in this case it does make a difference since one is male and one female...you wouldn't call your aunt an uncle either o.O
Talk to your boss, see if you can get a different assignment (the Murphy's Law sucktasticness of this might be able to get you out of it). Otherwise, just suck it up and move the stuff in. It'll suck, but I'm sure you can manage. The important question: If it was _your_ old house, why didn't you kick her to the curb instead of moving out?
I would have dumped you too, you can't even spell fiancée right. The feminine form has an extra e on the end. This has been covered in so many previous FMLs. Normally I'm not nitpicky about spelling mistakes, but this one is too confusing to keep quiet about.
Your ex-fiancé's a ****. Dude, if you know you're gonna feel awkward and uncomfortable, talk to your boss and see if you can get someone to replace you. If not, seriously suck it up and act like you couldn't give a sh*t about her. Strike up conversation with her new boyfriend..get on her nerves a little.
Ps- I accidentally spelled 'fiancée' wrong. Grammar Nazis be gone.
Eeeeek, dantheman - that is wretched bad luck! I have one almost as bad -- when my ex and I split up, I used a small family-owned moving company who were really kind, understanding, etc., so when my new boyfriend (several months later, before you all start screaming) needed some quick extra cash I suggested he approach them. He got hired. HIS second assignment? Moving my ex out of the apartment he could no longer afford on his own...
Two weeks later, really? O.O Yeah though, that sucks. I'd either be as non-confrontationally annoying as possible (talking to the new guy, etc), or I'd talk to the boss.

couldn't you turn down the job and just explain the situation to your boss?
