@#158: WoW is popular so it'll be hated by other game fanboys, wich is sad. EDIT: wtf is wrong with this site lately.... srsly
Keep playing. Just adjust the way you hold your wrist. Or buy those wrist pads that help prevent CTS. Proper posture not only reduces the chance of getting CTS/reduces the severity of CTS but also helps imrpove your gameplay since proper posture normally means better concentration.

You spent many hours of your time playing a game that gave you satisfaction. It made you happy. You are a gamer. You like to have fun. Say all you did was play a sport. Lets say...track. You became very fast. You came in 1st place sometimes, second place other times. It didn't matter to you -- it made you happy just to compete. One day you wake up and say, "Why am I doing this?". Or maybe you take joy in making tons of money. One day you'll wake up and realize, "So what? I'm rich. I wasted my life doing all this just for money? What a joke." Any activity or lifestyle can be looked at with a "So what" attitude sooner or later, and the fact is that there simply is virtually no reason to do anything in life. Simply enjoy it. Be it playing games, running track, becoming an allstar. In the end, there is nothing tangible to be gained from doing many things that make people happy. The simple fact that an activity brings us joy is why we do anything in life. So do it, whatever you want to do, to your heart's content.
Coming from a 22 year old female with a very active social life: Wow is awesome. Never stop doing what makes you happy. You are more interesting of a person than 98% of the people telling you to stop. However, horde ftw. Come on, if you play alliance you totally pass up Barrens chat. GG, OP.
I think the definition of "disease" was lost in your post.
the real FML here is that you play WoW
Actually research shows that it's very unlikely that repetitive motion causes carpal tunnel, just that it aggravates it. The causes are mostly genetic. Either you would have it regardless of playing WoW, or you were misdiagnosed and straining your wrists using your keyboard a lot has caused a more minor condition such as tendonitis.
YOU SUCKKK STOP PLAY WofWarcraft and stop wanking! Get a (boy/girl)friend and a life
your goddamn worthless
