Hey, OP here. I can clear a few things up. She was nearly arrested for breaking and entering and saw a 'cute' boy at the jail. Every day since (without my knowledge) she went to the jail and talked to him. I found out last week.

That's uncalled for. Sixteen year olds make stupid decision. I'm sure that when you were that age you did stupid things. Sometimes you can't control what your child does. Op talked to her daughter, and that's really all she can do.

Women seldom grow out of the bad boy phase. They, typically, are forced out of it by birthing 2-3 children, then hope and pray a good guy will accept their past.

Well now I guess you regret all the times you put Jailhouse Rock on the big TV for her to dance when she was a child .... Just messing around, things are not as bad since she has a father like you. It seems you are there and you care so end of story. All girls and women fall for this bad cute boy type. What they do not understand is that cute bad boys are bad boys, most of the times they can't turn them into the good fellas they imagine but remain abusive, non-caring for their needs and disrespectful. All that unless the boy was also there nearly arrested for breaking and entering. I mean, I take for granted that he is not someone that made an one time mistake
