Today, I learned the reason they say don't keep your phone in high humidity places. I left my phone on the counter when I went to take a shower. It now won't turn on due to water damage and the warranty doesn't cover it. FML

Yea, that really sucks... But if you were told not to put it in a high humidity place and you did, YDI. Sidenote: put it in rice for a day. Dries it out niiice :)

yikes fyl.......turn the fan on I guess. I take my phone with me when I shower and that's never happened. Of course, my phone actually has been swimming. take the battery out and let it set overnight. put the battery back in in the morning, turn it on and you should be fine

Seriously, I'm not that obsessed with my cell that I can't leave it alone for 15 minutes. None of the calls or texts I get are really that important anyways. It's not like it's life-threatening or anything.

How is it fake? Not everyone has a phone that can resist water. Maybe she has a cheap phone. Think about it, electronics and water don't go together. So how on earth could this be fake?
