Today, I lied when my therapist asked why I preferred Tuesday morning appointments. It's actually because World of Warcraft is down for regularly scheduled maintenance. FML

Why lie to your therapist? They can't help you if you don't tell them the truth. Also, if you want to play that game, then fair play, but when you can't tear yourself away in such a way (especially for something like this), then you might want to play a little less.

I like video games, but I don't NEED them. I'm one of those people who have a life outside of games. But as you can see, that trait is thinning gradually.

So what do you do with your free time? You can't hang out with your friends all the time, so you go on the computer, watch some tv. What's the huge difference if you replace those with video games? The op may not be obsessed, but is simply very clever. When I'm in a WoW mood on a tuesday it really sucks because I can't play for a few hours so if I needed to do something that week anyway, why not do it while wow is down?
