Today, I lost my job because I was doing my work too quickly, getting too much done and the supervisor was afraid I was bored. I have only been here for 3 weeks and already had the best stats on the team. FML

Maybe you're just too good for everything.

Well. At least you get a chance to get a better job.

#26 **** Off with the sexist joke. am not even gonna bother to counter with a male joke -.- irrating to see that. @OP when you start out on a job just start off on a good pace and then after a good month you can go over the pace and ask for that pay-raise. ;D

...Have you ever gotten a raise after only a month? I've never heard of that happening, no matter how hard someone works. A month isn't long enough for you to get established in the company.

I know exactly how you feel OP. One example is when a girl gets moved to night shift with the young cheap tippers because the day shift girls are tired of trying to compete. FYL :(

the exact same shit happened to me. i got my work done too quickly and walked around a lot.. first they cut my hours until and my day ended at 12pm i still didn't stop as i was clueless like what the **** lol then yes i got fired :(

if they were so worried about you being bored then they could have given you some of their work...gives them less to do.  but this is ridiculous. I've been around slackers like that, it's SO annoying to be the only one who does any work.

People are so stupid. Wow. if you're in a right-to-work state you could report them, but if you're in an at-will state they can fire you for any non-discriminating reason. sucky.

There has to be some other reason. Anyway you will probably find something better.

Sue the bastard... Quickly. You can!!

awwwwww poor baby ): Don't worry, I'm sure U'll get a much better job sometime soon ;)

It's just the manager. He/She was worried that you would do better and eventually take the other ppl's positions. It's unfortunate but you have to know the people around you very well and form connections. Just working hard isn't enough.
