Today, I'm a college student. Just like every other goddamn day, my roommate set about twenty alarms a good two hours before she even needs to get up. She just sleeps through the first hour or so of alarms while I wake up. I've been waking up at 6 a.m., even though my first classes are at 9. FML.

Have you thought about talking to your roommate? Maybe she'll understand if you ask her to set fewer alarms!

Take it up with your DM (Dorm Manager).

My school starts at 8, but I've got to be up at 5:55 to get entirely ready.. and even then I still have to rush sometimes.

I do that, but only 30 minutes earlier than I actually want to get up, but since I don't share a room I don't have to worry about disturbing the other people in the house.

Can I have your roommate? I need 20 alarms just to get up before noon.

Sounds a lot like me, but only 1 hour of alarms, sleeping through the first half. Some people just aren't morning people. Still, if it is waking you up, there must be something you and your roomate can figure out to try to let you sleep more, without yoir roomate sleeping in.

Here's a tip: if it's on her phone, message her. It'll shut off the alarm and you won't need to get up

Get up and turn them all off. Then go get coffee. Do this until your roommate gets the clue.

Wake her the **** up too. Dump ice water on her head every morning at 6 and she'll catch on

My freshman roommate did this too. She was a bitch and didn't care at all when I asked her if she could try something else or stop setting them so early. Invest in ear plugs is my only advice. It kind of works.

I do that all the time. alarms dont wake me up ?
