Today, I'm now able to put my acne cream on my face without having to look in the mirror, because I've memorized the crater and trench-filled war zone that is my acne-riddled face. FML

That's a pretty good talent actually. If the power ever goes out and you need to put the acne cream on, you're all set:)

Well you should be proud of that memory of yours

consider a diet change if that would help, otherwise be aware of the drawbacks of any prescription acne medicine can have long term

Man I know how you feel. Just stick with the acne cream and this tip really works don't touch your face at all throughout the day.

I had the exact same problem OP. This will sound odd but I promise you, it does work. My acne was because of my PCOS and even having an awful treatment where hot needles "closed off my pores" did nothing. Then I read a home remedy that I thought was ridiculous; but I'd spent sooo much money and time already I thought it was worth a go. You just mix equal parts (a teaspoon should be enough for your face) raw honey (make sure it say "raw", "unfiltered", or "unpasteurized", if it doesn't say any of those don't buy it) cinnamon powder and nutmeg. You stir until it looks like mud (for a while it looks like it won't mix but it will, don't be tempted to add more honey) and put it on your face like a mask. Leave it for at least half an hour, then just wash off. I do it a few times a week ( and I now wash my face with Manila honey) and it has changed my skin completely. Please try it!!!!!

I've heard that acne creams have some chemicals in them that cause acne to return, so that you will keep purchasing their creams. However, one method that I've used since I've started getting acne and pimples is a time-tested method: Take a BAR of soap and create a thick lather out of it with hot water. Go to the worst areas first and put some on over each spot (be generous; soap is inexpensive) at night before you go to bed. Wash the soap residue off in the morning when you wake up. Slowly but surely, the acne and pimples will go away. The reason this works is because pimples and acne are just moisture that is trapped and dirty. By using soap, you are drying it out and disinfecting it. Also, this won't give you a dry skin problem. (Personally, I use Dove soap.) I hope this helps you and everyone else who has trouble with acne and pimples!!!!

just take a ton of pantothenic acid, or vitamin b5, and wash your face every morning and night with something like clean and clear with sacylic acid. It'll all be gone within a month. trust me. If anyone else has their own acne solution message me, i'd like to hear them just for the fun of it!

That's so sad): it will get better. Try to relax and not be stressed. And change your pillow case. Epiduo works for me. Try that.

Same with me up until very recently for the last 5 years. I actually had to have pills prescribed to me to clear it up. God how I hope I won't relapse.

Used to have bad acne here. Don't pop any zits what ever you do! Wash your face 2x a day. I had some pregnancy acne and the murad kit and the go clear kit both from sephora helped clear it up. Drink water any chance you get and exercise help flush out the toxins in your body. Lastly, retinol (I like the dr brant ruby crystal cream (for day and for night, it's a pink tube for day and gray for night) will help with clearing your skin and lighten any acne scarring. You just have to wear SPF 20 everyday due to sunlight sensitivity. I have worked for sephora for 7 1/2 years now and used tons of products and it helped my skin do much!

At least that means there can't be that much new acne appearing, if you know where it all is.
