Today, I made a Sim of myself and had her work out until she was completely fit, then got her a job and a husband. Meanwhile, I sat at my desk, fat, single, and jobless. FML

Today, I played The Sims just so I'd know what it was like to live alone, own a home, and have a well-paying job that didn't slowly kill me from the inside out. It was the happiest I've been in months. FML

Today, my husband of ten years was playing the Sims. I asked him about the house he built. Apparently, it was his dream house, and he recreated himself as a Sim so he could live in it. Then I asked him where the wife was. There was no wife. It was his happy place. FML

Today, I spent a good hour playing a life simulation game so my character could go through the stages of pregnancy and labor, only to jealously cry for an hour because my character can successfully get pregnant and have a baby, and I can't. FML

Today, my son was playing The Sims, when I saw him remove the door to a room and set it on fire with a Sim trapped inside. I chuckled at first, until I saw that the Sim was me. Meanwhile, my wife's Sim was happily painting in the next room, not giving a crap. All too accurate, sadly. FML

If being fat, single, and jobless bothers you, I would highly suggest working on your real life instead during the time that you would usually be working on your Sim's life.

Sorry OP, but I only have sympathy for you on the job part (assuming you're out there putting in job apps) otherwise...you are the only one who can change your situation, now step away from the computer (sims & FML, etc) & do something that doesn't involve wasting everyones time by complaining & doing nothing..life is not a fairy tale, you have to do something to get anywhere in life.. Prince charming or a fairy godmother isn't going to pop up, wave a wand & fix it for you.
