Today, I made an excuse and didn't turn up at work. Little did I know my boss did the same. We both bumped into each other at the shopping centre across town. FML

Good to see lots of work getting done... Lazy asses. Lol.

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Also, people on time wasting websites shouldn't call others lazy.

Lucky for me, my boss isn't on FML (Another reason not to use a picture of myself as my profile picture)

The problem is bosses can get away with doing that, so if he's feeling hypocritical he can still get you in trouble.

Well you are a bit screwed but I think you'll be safe

You are probably not screwed but time will tell Edit ran out

Sounds like a good time as any to pretend to be your long lost identical twin.

You should be ok for this time. But it's gonna be a lot hard next time asking for a day off even with a valid reason.

then just grab a drink and have fun!!! may be it would turn into some sort of team building thingy

Lol an old Mexican standoff. He can't rat you out and you can't rat him out. It's more of a win win. But next time don't go somewhere common

how about they dont lie to the boss to stay home. even though their boss did the same thing, they still have the right to fire them for that. I mean it wouldnt be fair if they got in trouble but they deserved it since they feel like they can take advantage of the boss and lie to them

You're in UK. It's called a shopping centre

It's called whatever the **** he wants to call it.

Must be nice to have a job you can just "call off" on. I suppose now you can either ignore each other or laugh it off

i agree. they deserve to get in trouble for taking advantage of their boss and lying to them just so they can watch tv.
