This is why when you play hooky you stay home.
That's why you don't go out if you're skipping work...
This is one of those "I won't tell if you won't tell" moments.
Did he write you up?
I mean, it's not like he can write you up or tell anyone about it for that matter. What is he going to say, "I was skipping work and I bumped into my employee at the mall who was skipping work as well." I'd say you're pretty much off the hook. But you still deserved the awkwardness for skipping work.
Well, now he can't fire you for ditching work.
All these people saying you're safe because he did it too are wrong. He's the boss and doesn't have to write how he caught you on the paperwork. However; if he didn't bitch you out on the spot, you're probably safe. He may give you a hard time about it, but it's not like you are on the clock stealing time and money from your work.
Busted!!! That's why when you fake a sick day. You stay home and chill out. Don't run errands or go shopping. Someone is bound to see you. YDI
Wait you didn't turn up? So you turned down? What in the world for?
You doubly deserve it as you live in the UK and we don't have Malls we have shopping centres
