Today, I managed to accidentally drop an entire cake on my laptop's keyboard. There's so much frosting stuck under the keys, I have no idea how I'm going to clean it out. FML

no no, you just have sticky keys on. press shift five times, you'll be good.

Laptop keyboards are pretty easy to take out, look up the guide for your computer's model and either replace the keyboard (You can get a new one for like $20 at the most) or figure a way to clean it out.

You could use a heck of a lot of q-tips. Or take all the keys off, wipe it down, and put them back on. Depending on if you can do that without breaking it-depends on the type. I'd be sadder about the cake honestly.

**** the laptop, is the cake ok?

take out the main battery and the CMOS battery and just spray the keyboard down with water. let it dry for a week or so and you'll be good to go.

take apart the laptop, and open up the keyboard area, just take caution to remember where the screws go, and don't do it on carpet

Why were you holding cake over your laptop in the first place? If you were eating it, why not put it down before eating?

you can pop the keys off then put them back when you're done cleaning
