Today, I met my biological parents for the first time. Their justification for giving me up for adoption was that I wasn't conceived at the ideal time for them. Apparently, the ideal time was six months after the adoption, when they conceived the first of my two brothers. FML

That's just sad I'm bit trying to be mean but maybe it was a good thing they weren't in your life. You probably had a better life. But I hope thing go well with you and your parents!!

OP... and just how much younger do you want their "kept" children to be, so you wouldn't be mad? You couldn't have possibly expected their kids to be 10 yrs younger than you, did you? You had good parents and a good life, right? Then ur better off.

Also, the 6 months inbetween plus 9 of pregnancy is 15 months. Things can change a whole lot on that amount of time, just by looking in my own life. OP... your bio parents were probably thinking in ur best interests. And if u had a good life, then it should be okay.

Six months plus nine months of pregnancy...that's over a year of time. Do you know what their situation was? Perhaps they had a poor financial situation and didn't want to have to struggle just to keep a roof over your head. A lot can happen in six months... It's not like they can just go and say, "Hey, I know we just gave you our baby a few months ago, but we want him back now."
