Today, I moved to Florida because I have poor circulation and need to be in a warm environment. The first day at my new job, I discovered my co-worker is an overweight man who wears a wool suit every day, and insists on keeping the office chilled to 65 degrees. I can't feel my fingers or toes. FML

usually, I would make some witty comment... but this just sucks :(

Just keep your head cool and don't argue with him. You don't want things heating up in the office now do we?

Yeah, you really need to think about the logic there. Firstly, they're Americans, so obviously they're talking about degrees F. Secondly, if 26 deg is nice for you, don't you think that 95 deg would be seriously dangerous? They're talking about Farenheit, you're talking about Celcius.

tell fatty mcfatass to switch to a cotton polo and go on a damn diet.

cool hair bro. mine's just like that except blonde

You should probably tell someone and not just sit there doing nothing about it. If it's your health I'm pretty sure they can do something about it, not just sit there and say "that's your problem not mine".

Uh try Alaska. I sit in a room chilled to 40 degrees everyday

every one knows that people from Alaska don't feel the cold it results from all the inbreeding, oh and FYI nobody cares how cold it is in alaska

Oh man why does he get to control the thermostat? I have a pretty severe circulation problem too (Raynaud's) & I use the HotHands-2 hand warmers (my fingers are my biggest problem) pretty much at all times (you can order them on amazon for $25 for 40 pair & each pair lasts 10 hours! you could also try using a space heater under your desk OR they make "Toasti-toes" which are like the hand warmers but for your feet! But it would also be nice if Mr. wool suit lame-o man would just have some sort of "accident" or take away his access to the thermostat. Good luck! :)

I should try the special socks! do they really work?

I'm not sure how well the socks work-like I said, its mainly my hands that are a problem for me. There are a few kinds of socks too-some are electrically heated, some can be microwaved, and some have built in pockets to put the HotHands foot warmers into. I definitely think the HotHands are best cause they stay warm so long! You can find all if these items on amazon!

explain your problem to your supervisor and your co-worker and maybe you can compromise on a temperature.
