Screw your "friend". Depression is serious and should be treated, as such. Call 1-(800)-273-8255, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. I wish the best for you.

the first time i opened up to an adult about being suicidal was my middle school counselor. All she said was "well, if you really wanted to do it, you wouldve bought a gun and done it already."
