hahaha ouch
That is a little ridiculous, but if you're old enough to have a job, then you're old enough to make your own sandwiches. That way, you'll still have your money and lunch 🤷🏽♀️
Or maybe OP isn’t one to turn down what was supposed to be free food.
I was assuming OP still lived with his parents, therefore making his own sandwhich with food that they bought would still constitute as "free food" and his dad wouldn't necessarily know about it.
Sounds like you need to go to the grocery shop...
YDI. Been making my own lunch since I was 17. Does Mom do your laundry too?
Lol been making my own lunch since I was 7. I was helping make family dinners at 7 too. 17is a bit old to start making your own food.
you could have been making your own lunch at 2, doesn't mean you would say no to free food. this "I did it so should you mentality" is really dumb
Your "Making my own lunch at 17" comment is like saying "I learned to wipe my ass when I was 12!"
Tell your dad the money will come out of your budget for his future nursing home.
here's a thought. get out of the family business h4 just just chince you everyway he can
All lunches are unpaid - only breaks are paid, which means he's just taking money you're actually working for.
That depends who you work for. My lunches are paid, my breaks are paid, sick days, and vacations, too. It's a perk introduced when the owner found out none of us are smokers, and he's kept it as an incentive. And before anyone asks, no you can't have my job.
