Today, it's my mom's birthday. I woke up at midnight to be the first to tell her happy birthday. When I awoke in the morning, I decided to bake her a cake. Little did I know my whole family was going out to lunch to celebrate. I wasn't invited. FML

Hey, look at the bright side. If she loves you she was happy with just the fact that you planned on taking her out. If she doesn't love you, you just gave her a chance to turn you down which is a pretty nice gift.

hey, you at least tried. maybe something happened. talk to her about it. if she stood you up, then you still tried to do something for her and your the bigger person :)
