How did you not see the cockroach?
That was my first thought.
Well, I'm just going to go wash the kettle out now...
No. Screw that. It's buy a new kettle time.
eww now that's disgusting.
Well at 100C all the germs it could be carrying are sufficiently dead. I hope you picked it off into the trash and didn't waste the perfectly good noodles.
Roaches are actually very hygienic, even more so than humans.
I'm actually curious as to what you mean by this. Do they carry less germs?
Bon Appétit
I have to wonder how you didn't see a roach inside of a pot. And if it was a kettle, how did it get in? Did you not wash it before using it?
Boiling doesn't remove solid objects (like cockroaches). If you have a dirty kettle or pot, you have a dirty kettle or pot. You should ALWAYS rinse your cookware before using it...
This scares me. I use a kettle, and don't usually wash it out as all it contains is water that is then boiled...so I assume it's sterile, I guess. And the interior is black, so I wouldn't see a roach if one somehow snuck in.
At least it was sterilized
Always check the kettle before use!

at least you found the roach at that moment instead of when you were eating it.
