Today, I read my university's newsletter. Apparently we're starting up a "buddy" system for international students. I'm signing up, because this will help me complete my goal of making my first friend at university. FML

your goal should be graduating with honors. friends come along with that.

i wouldn't call this an FML at all! It's one brave step towards completing your goal, which is a common problem with people today, such as myself. You should be proud you're at least trying to come out of your shell. :)

Awwwww. bless Ur heart honey. I'm a loner kinda. I want to make friends and I have some online but never actually meet them. I don't trust people plus I have aniexty issues. however I have a partner of 10 years. so I'm not totally alone. we just are basically joined at hip bc he has aniexty as well.
