Show it anywayHonestly OP, don't try to change people. If he was ever going to get over his insecurities, it would've happened regardless. It's not wrong to feel alone and scared sometimes. Just be there for people, don't be them. YDI in my opinion.
It doesn't say ANYWHERE that OP is the one that brought up the idea of working in the BF's issues. It says that OP was HELPING him do so, meaning he's just as likely to have been the one to suggest the action.
