Today, I realized that I can still do the splits. Why? Because I fell down an entire flight of stairs, everyone in the hall saw me land and applauded. Someone even shouted "and she sticks the landing." FML

Today, I was late to a lecture when I tripped up the stairs. With a few hundred people already staring and laughing at me, I started to curtsy to my "adoring fans" but instead fell backwards down the massive flight of stairs. FML

Today, I finally did the splits for the first time in my life! Unfortunately, it happened when I stepped in wet dog poop on my kitchen floor. One foot slipped forward in it, and I fell right on top of it. FML

Today, I tripped while walking down a large flight of stairs. As I fell forward, I instinctively reached out and grabbed onto one of the guys walking up. I ended up taking him and two other people down with me, earning myself a great many disgusted glares as I dusted myself off. FML

Today, in dance class, the instructor asked me to demonstrate the splits to the group. I slid down, my legs opening wider as I descended. I then loudly farted for the full 5 seconds it took to reach the ground. FML

Today, in ballet class, I was really focusing and actually trying to work hard. I was really getting into the choreography. I was travelling big and leaping long. While going across the floor, again I travelled and leaped… right into the ballet bars and fell over, in front of 35 people. FML

Today, I was getting ready for school and stepped out on my porch to go wait for the bus. I literally said out loud, “Today is gonna be a good day.” I took one step and fell all the way down the stairs. FML

So nobody was concerned that you fell down the stairs? Look on the bright side; at least you can do splits. That's more than I can do. And it wasn't an utterly humiliating experience.

I did something similar to this when I was living in Pittsburgh. I went to Kennywood with a bunch of friends and I was wearing a shirt that said "Keep starting I might do a trick"; while running to catch up with them I started to stumble allllmost regained my balance and got back to my feet but I ended up falling tucked rolled and went right back up on my feet. I stopped looked around wen't "TA DA!" and then ran off agian, might as well just roll with what life throws you :D

I haven't been to Kennywood in years. I hope I'm going this summer when I'm up that way for my family reunion. Tell me they still have the Steel Phantom, or Phantom's Revenge i think they called it last time I went.
