Assuming there are ample charging stations situated around her part of Mexico. As a former Nissan salesman I can say it's not very likely in Mexico.

Last time I filled my truck from empty, it was something like $148 I don't know what kind of car you drive. But if you don't have much money to replace it. See if one of your neighbors has an old beater you could make payments on.
