If you can, find a cheaper way to travel to work, or car pool with someone. At least you have a job so that's a start.

Some employers will pay your fuel bills if you are spending that much to get there. Well, my mums does because her job involves driving and my dads does because he works in London.

Do you drive a tank and work 300 miles from your house? How do you even have enough time in a day to drive that far to and from work and put your time at work in? This sounds fake to me unless you make $2 an hour.

I feel your pain . I fill up three or four times a week at 45$ a tank. I'm a delivery driver for a catering company and I drive an SUV. But luckily I make a hell of a lot more than I spend in gas. My only suggestion for you OP is try to find someone to carpool with or try to find work closer to home.
