Today, I realized that the closest thing I have to a savings account is the cup on my dresser with coins in it. I counted it, $17.34. That is my savings. I'm 28. FML

Maybe he's in school. It's expensive you know? People who don't know the situation needa STFU!

I hope you have a job or at least go to school. even if you do that still really sad.

not even a dollar for every year you've been alive. fail.

I have a job and try to save as much as possible but by the time I get paid next time I normally only have a few dollars left. Apparantly everyone here has a job that's enough to pay every bill one could possibly have, pay for gas, food, and still has money extra left over. Oh wait, you guys probably don't have any bills whatsoever and because of that you're able to save money. Must be farking nice.

I don't have a job...I'm 17...and I have about 1,442 times more money than you do in my savings. yippeeeee for the pfd!!

The original post is too vague to click "fyi" or "ydi." What if (s)he just finished college, and has a job, but has monthly expenses that include student loan payments, rent, car payment/insurance, electric, cable, phone, internet, food, and stuff such as that? In that case ftheop'sl. Or (s)he could just be an unemployed reject living in his/her parent's basement who has no incentive to improve his/her life. In that case, (s)hedi.

As for the elitist kids who are coming on here, and saying that they have more money than the op, I suggest you stfu. Now I am only 18 myself, but I am not going to be a condescending idiot because I am in a living condition(living with parents with almost no bills to pay, food to buy, etc.) which allows me to save any money I make. I know for a fact that I, and any of the idiot kids who posted before this comment, had to live on our own and pay our own way, we would be much much poorer than the original poster in a New York minute.

Go find $2.52 more an buy yourself some pot XD

#21 you're right. Little miss/mr fourteen year old boasting about their vast savings doesn't have to fork out for utility bills every month and chances are mummy and daddy buy their food. anyway, I'd just suggest you open a savings account with interest, so you'll have a bit more than you do. you could also look for another job to tide you over.
