You should've peed in the sink. No flushing, no woken up kids, no worries. Just remember to rinse it down after.

That's as moronic as the girl I was best friends with in high school who wanted to pee in my garbage pail so she wouldn't wake up my parents by using the bathroom. I found out this was what she did at home. I stayed over at her parents' house and used the bathroom in the middle of the night and no one berated me or told her off later. I'm pretty sure this was just her issue. Just don't flush, especially if it's just pee. Close the lid and tell the parents you used the bathroom but you were afraid to wake the kids so they should flush before they go next time.

I'm surprised they didn't just take the cup into the bathroom in case one of the kids got up. Then the parents would've only seen them leaving the bathroom with a wet cup.

Rather wake up the kids then have the parents walk in on u pissing in a cup in the middle of their kitchen! They are definitely not hiring u again, u could have just peed and if the kids woke up told them u had to go potty and put them back to bed or explained to the parents that u woke the kids while peeing because U DIDNT WANT TO PEE IN A CUP
