Today, I was finally discharged from hospital after being in there for one month, I arrive home to find a letter from a debt collection agency for my unpaid car insurance premium, and another letter from my car insurer to say that they aren't covering my accident due to non payment of premium. FML

Today, I bought a car that literally caught fire seconds after I started the engine. The dealership then fobbed me off, saying I'd driven it off their forecourt (by about 3 yards), so it was entirely my problem, but they still expect my monthly payments to be on time. FML

Today, marks the two weeks since my paycheck should have arrived. During these two weeks, my battery has failed, tire has blown, and my phone and water bill have become past due. When I called the guy who's supposed to pay me, he said he has a note about it "somewhere on my desk". FML

As I understand it, even if your car gets lost in an inter dimensional portal, and you are making payments, you still have to pay it off. Same goes for mortgage payments.

That happened to my ex. He had to make payments on a car that totaled out after and accident and the "worth" of the car that the insurance gave was less than what he still owed on it! He had like a years left of payments to make on a car he didn't even have anymore! Fyl!!!!
