Wow. Lots to say. As the child of another douche for a father, yes, even if he completely refuses to pay, there is a process to have his wages garnished, to use the proper terminology. Unfortunately, it's an extremely long process that usually takes years (postponing court dates, waiting for the government to get their ass in gear, etc.) and if the child comes of age before the father pays the back child support he owes, it is then up to the child to sue him for it, taking another long wait for years.
