Today, I received several texts congratulating me on my pregnancy. It turns out that my husband announced he is going to be a father on Facebook, which I don't use. I'm not pregnant. FML

Once again, social media brings out the stupid in people.

This is what the world has come to. When facebook knows more about your relationship than you do.

Maybe your husband's girlfriend is pregnant.

Sounds like someone has some explaining to do.

Yeah no kidding, OP needs to confirm whether the husband really cheated or he was just playing a joke.

Either your husband is cheating, or dropping some very blunt hints. Stop saying she should divorce him. You are the reason marriage doesn't mean anything.

If OP's husband is, possibly, starting a family with someone else, I'd say this is excellent grounds to get a divorce :P OP's husband is the one who doesn't respect marriage.

You want to know what a blunt hint would be? "Hey honey, I want to have kids." Knocking up someone else behind your wife's back? Grounds for divorce baby.

Announcing you're going to be a father in a way your wife doesn't even have much access to isn't dropping hints that you want kids. It's dropping the bomb that your husband is a douchebag of the highest caliber, because not only is he disrespecting his wife by cheating on her, he's insulting her intelligence by blabbing about it and assuming she'd never find out.

You should tell him it's not nice to kid about bastards.

#20, some of them grow up to be doctors!

How mindless and stupid can people be on Facebook, more so the Internet? You should tweet this.

This is more than likely a cheating scenario, but what if it really is a joke? OP a comment clearing things up would be great ! :)

I'm hoping that this was only a joke for the sake of their marriage. However, I just can't see this as a joke. Not a funny one anyways. It was not stated clearly one way or another in the FML so we don't know what the real situation is. Wether it be cheating or a joke. I would be very hurt by my husband cheating and then adding to the insult by blabbing about it all over Facebook knowing that I couldn't see it. And were it a joke I would still be very annoyed by it because it's just not funny or really something that should be joked about. To me, anyways.
