The multiple solutions to this are all simple... Don't wear such tight pants, or Don't buy expensive clothes that probably aren't any better than $15-20 jeans, or Don't pick up change off of the ground, although, I would have too.
I would've picked up the change as well. Not your fault, just unlucky. Bend at the knees next time.

It just goes to show that expensive clothing is based off the designer's name and never quality.
what if he got the pants as a gift; and who knows that coulda been his lucky dime or something; even if they were jeans doesnt mean he always spends $80 on jeans.. hence why he said FML
Get some pants that fit, and try crouching down to pick up money next time around.
